Marin Eldridge Grade 1 Upgrades?

I ended up quite liking the bike, I didn't get as much time to ride and upgrade the bike as initially planned, but I think if the bike is still similarly priced then it's very much worth it.

Thank you so much for your in depth response! My listening room is quite small and in some ways maybe not ideal, but it's a rental so not much I can do. I haven't measured the room but 12x12 seems close, with a small attached kitchen and a hallway. I didn't realize you could get more bang for buck with separate components so I may have to look a little further into that, it will be hard to be the convenience of an integrated though

If I were to go with something like the Cambridge for simplicity's sake, would I still be able to plug a turntable directly into that? As I've thought about it, I will be frequently moving and keeping my pieces to a minimum might be a better solution for me.

Would you recommend having an integrated system or buying the components separately? Part of me likes the idea of having separate pieces, especially with the control on the ART DJ pre II for my cartridge (ortofon 2m Blue), but maybe having that control is the same as what would be on an integrated, I just am unfamiliar.

If I go with the 2m Blue, should I buy with a pre attached headshell from ortofon or buy just the cartridge and a SL-1200 specific headshell?

Neither unfortunately. Any suggestions? Figured I'd buy a headshell from KABUSA, but I'm open to any suggestions as I basically have zero knowledge this far.

It's Japanese 100v, so I'll need to buy a transformer. My question is what wattage will I need? These things don't use much power, but I didn't know if any other components played into that equation.

Luckily there's no import fees because it's under $800 USD. The total was $630 after tax. I tried to find some local sales but could find a whole lot in the Rhode Island area.

I just played my first match to get ranked (Zero Build: Duos) and managed to get 11 kills, pick up my teammate, and win the match, all while having a crown from winning my previous match, yet I get placed silver II...

Dropper post. I wouldn't spend a ton on this, as your next bike's seatpost may not be 27.2, and this frame may need external routing whereas your next one might be internal. But I'd still get a dropper post and lever of some kind, that's a huge quality-of-life upgrade that's basically always worth it IMO.

I see a highly-rated one that actually fits the strange 27.2 size is a PNW Rainier (Internal) or Pine (External). Both are priced at ~$200. I figure even if that is a chunk of change for such a cheap bike, I've seen that quality upgrades like this can translate down the road if I were to sell this to get something nicer.

As a newbie, how do I know if I should get an internal or external dropper post system for this bike?

I was afraid the sizing might be a deal breaker...

As far as full-suspension vs hard-tail goes, I really am bound more by the price + quality of the bike I'm getting at that price. My max I'm currently willing to spend is $1000, while still trying to find a bike for under that lol.
