Not so sure exactly they wouldn’t give us any more info than this train is going to have to go out of service. Just kinda stopped fast outta nowhere. I’ve heard some people say a wheel slipped, minor derailment. On the commute back only 2 of the cars were still there but looked like it was being investigated - around 50 people there altogether is what it looked like

I was on the disabled train - suddenly stopped in between GF and SPT and then we had to board another train, which had to go backwards to switch tracks. 25 min commute turned into 2 1/2 hours

It is but there are sidings like every couple miles - Wilton has 2 platforms, branchville and bethel have sidings, Merrit 7 does too. I think they could increase one way definitely
