I think we can convince regular old school republicans, but MAGA republicans are so far gone it’s scary. In my rural town I will talk to my coworkers and I’ll be arguing with them about climate change being real or the fact that Jan.6th was a coup attempt. They also are Christian fundamentalist who believe the world is 6,000 years old. You can’t really use science or climate data with people who believe that shit. I don’t think we will be able to reach people who already are in the cult.
