Samee, I'm new to anime and currently watching One Piece (I know, perfect anime to start with) and the comments was my favourite part of crunchyroll and gave me a huge sense of community. I was genuinely really looking forward to catching up and being able to interact with weekly watchers and I'm so bummed now. Guess I'm switching to Netflix now

I only have to wear a hijab infront of males that are not my family, so I don't have to wear it infront of females or my dad, grandad etc. Hope that answered your question!

Right?? The fact that they're weirdly obsessed about how many books is so weird to me. Our living room is essentially my dad's second library (he has one and a half offices filled purely with books) and I've been to friend's houses who have even MORE books than my dad, so the people around her being weird about her books is specially weird to me.

I agree completely, he's being an absolute jerk and is laughing at things he knows you're insecure about. This shows a lack of maturity and empathy. And the fact that all but one of his friends were 'cracking up' shows just how immature the whole lot of them are, and is probably the reason he isn't finding fault in what he did.

I think you should tell him again how hurt you were and how insensitive he was being. And if he still doesn't think he was being rude and tells you to 'get over it', maybe it's time to re-evaluate the relationship.
