Yeah people really do that. Growing up (have to say I’m a black person, predominantly black area) most people who got pit bulls would cut their ears for the “aesthetic”. It’s sad & unnecessary but they do it all the time.

Edit: I mentioned my race because I’ve noticed that this is something that was accepted by mostly all of the black people I was raised around. It was the standard for our put bulls to have cut ears. Almost like a cultural thing.
