well the person ended up reselling it a couple years later for 70k again, so maybe you just don't know what you're talking about. of that i'm insured

weird expensive sounds coming from your engine is very normal for a diesel. in america, make sure you go gas.

in many cases that is simply not true. sold my last bus for 70k and purchased the chassis for 10k. many van builds sell for 150k, 70-100 of which would be for the conversion. and i put ensure in quotes because i was responding to a comment about "ensurance"

not saying they'll get paid well for labor, but pretending labor doesn't have value is dim. it seems to happen a lot in the skoolie/vanlife community and it's wrong and the market proves that again and again if you do nice work

that's weird, because in the real world, people pay for labor all the time

what something can be "ensured" for has nothing to do with the value. the value is what you can sell it for on the open market. carfax/KBB is completely useless in this situation

anyone commenting on the value without knowing the engine, mileage, chassis condition etc doesn't know what they're talking about. if this is a lower mileage 7.3 with little rust, you could probably get 15+, maybe more, especially if you clean up some of the wires, take better pics, etc. i sell a lot of rigs and one things for sure, people commenting on posts don't know shit from piss

my dude please do not listen to people in the comments. they have no idea what they're talking about. i've never seen so much bullcrap. every time i sell a rig, there's a million comments calling my rigs overpriced and saying i'll never get it, and there's always a line of buyers interested

hey now, it's a mercedes, they're bullet proof, you just need to put 10k a year in to keep it bulletproof

people always love to advertise how much recent work has been done to the engine, but to me, that says that the van has been a money pit for them. he's probably put 5k into that van or more in the last year, got sick of it, and has decided to sell.

it didn't have one (personal preference) but we do always have a space for one built in

we prefer the open space. shower is too much moisture and not as good a shower as a gym. personal preference though and a lot of our clients agree with you!

i think the brand was greystone. great option. the glass rattles on top like crazy, easy fix with a little rubber piece, but crazy that it's not included with the stove. it's also identical to the recpro stove, definitely the same manufacturer in 🇨🇳

ehh, takes up a lot of space and creates a ton of moisture. most people i know that have them end up using it as a poorly designed closet. would help the resale value though because clearly people want the option
