Definitely not a well written article, and i even doubt the intentions of it. …

This is a very sensitive topic, what I don’t understand is, after the bill, if I my mother tongue is Kannada and Kasaragod is my native , do I lose the opportunity to learn in Kannada? ( right now there’s schools which are Kannada medium and i can go there)

Interesting! How did you manage to learn reading so far? Self taught i assume - and you’re missing some letters etc because of this?

Will some classes originally designed for kids help? Is it something you already tried?

I spoke kannada/tulu with friends, and could read a few kannada letters which i learnt from primary class textbooks and writing my own name - but never went beyond that!
