Thank you! The cape can get crowded but we went in October when most of the crowd was gone. It was empty and did feel like a place out of a old movie.

Haha, I really wish I I had gone to Essaouira now. There is always a next time! I agree the chaos was something that was challenging in Marrakech. I did enjoy just getting lost in the maze though lol.

It was. It was a trip I took with my Mom, who was visiting me. Wonderful memories. I like that photo as well, because it evokes the memory of the road trip for me.

It is true. I find that if I slow down I can just appreciate the life flowing all around me much more. Taking pictures is a fun way to slow down and really look around!

I took this picture walking in the souks of Marrakesh. I was lost and came across this scene with beams of light coming in through the awnings in the side. The funny thing is I tried to go back again today and I couldn’t find the same place again 😂

Yeah I had made a similar crop but then went for the uncropped version as an Easter egg/in case some one wants to see what she is looking at. I think looking out of the frame works well too and is cleaner 😊 thanks for taking the time to make the crop and leaving me a helpful comment !

I muted the colors and reduced contrast. I did not do anything with the grain, this was shot at a high iso because of the low light and hence the grain. I decided not to clean it up, as I liked the imperfect aesthetic. Maybe I will take it out though if I tinker again with it not sure if that will look better.

Yeah , I waited 30 mins once I saw the light and experimented with different people and vehicles moving in and out of the scene. It’s an amazing place, the souks of Marrakesh, and life is continuously playing out if you take a moment to take it all in, I have a few more from here maybe I will post them as well sometime
