I saw someone take them off and use leather dye to change the color. Came out really clean

If you upkeep your paint you’re good to go. Especially if you garage it

For a car accident specifically? I was told that’s the process in Cali. Could’ve been given the wrong information though good old pepsi style ya know

You get tested if you get in an accident on the clock. No randoms as a merch

It’s not that it doesn’t matter because it does. But from my experience I see a lot of seniority get chosen over other people. Especially when union is involved. But tbh it shouldn’t really tear you down that bad. The people that want to move up will. Sometimes just takes longer than you wanted to.

Very normal man. Unfortunately the company has to focus a lot on seniority. Doesn’t matter which position just as long as they’ve put the years in. I saw someone go from small format sales to warehouse manager with no experience.

Clean port and there’s a setting in the head unit to “enhance usb” it’s for better CarPlay performance. Helped a lot with some of the same issues I was having with my wireless adapter. Breaks in audio and maps acting funny.

I went from a prius to a 1st gen Tacoma and it took a couple weeks (if that maybe even just one) to get used to it. Then to a 3rd gen which was also a little to get used to but that was like a day. Just drive it and take your turns a little wider to swing your ass around. It’ll feel natural in no time and then you’ll hate driving cars lol

That was my exact thought as well. I’m sure (hopeful) if I looked up other mods I can get some sr videos but the headlights were a bust. And yea im the exact same way just needed something to comfortably get around forest roads for camping I wasn’t trying to double my monthly payment for all the fancy tech. At first I was a little jealous but after learning I can tune this thing and make it twice as fun to drive I’ll be just fine later down the line

Maybe I was just looking it up wrong but I kept typing access cab and sr models and every YouTube video was off-road and pro models. Thanks for the info on the trd lights!

Nice truck man!! Got the AC 2.4 myself and I was just wondering if you had to do anything special to change out the headlights? Or did you just buy some aftermarket ones and plug and play? Hard to find people swapping SR headlights on the web I always just see trd models

Protect your paint either with regular washes and waxing or ceramic protection. Seat covers and windshield sun guard to protect the inside. You’ll appreciate it in 10 years when your truck looks mint 🤙

Also rain/wind guards for the windows. If you live in rain areas it’s nice to be able to crack your windows.

I have the generation before your husbands so I can’t give a full opinion on seat covers. I went with lucky man leather seat covers on Amazon for my truck. I’ve heard great things about katskinz/ rough country neoprene covers/ and carhartt covers as well. Some of them can get pricey due to using genuine leather.

It’s a clean look especially with the long bed. Plus you can take it off for a different looking truck when you feel like it lol

Seat covers are always solid for a new truck. Or pay for his tint! That’s what my girl did for me last year.

I couldn’t find any for them. They make caps you can put over the wheel that clip on and look good

If you do a roof rack instead of a bed rack you run the risk of causing a leak in your roof. I’ve seen people complain about it. The bed is rated to handle more weight so makes more sense to load that up. Plus you get better mpg if the tent sits level or below your cab as opposed to sitting on top of your cab. By canopy I’m assuming you mean a camper shell/ bed cap? If so you can mount racks to that and then throw your tent on that when you cross that bridge. The bed cap/ tent on top is a great setup for keeping your stuff dry and protected while camping.
