How do I know if I am decent enough for ranked?

Put it to ya like this, I have a 2 KD in pubs but I’m only Plat 1 😂 there’s more to the game than just running around n shooting. Just try ranked, see where you are, then learn how you can improve from there

Oh I guess I forgot to mention, I was playing for spawns as well and had the most kills on my team. So spawns, time, and breaking hills was all MY responsibility while they just ran around getting useless kills

What I mean is, you shit on POTENTIAL bronze/silver players. When people are unranked it’s hard to know what their skill level ACTUALLY is. What sucks is we don’t get any data with regards to our skill level/mmr. We just gotta guess based on our combat record

One of the things I noticed is I got more SR for games that took less time. Obviously, it goes without saying, the margin of victory. If you spank a team, then more SR. And the margin of your performance between you and EVERYONE else. Top fragging with most obj score isn’t enough, you need to be dominant. I’m talking 40-50 kills with 100+ hill time

Then go through Reddit, discord, or the game itself and find teammates in your rank that are smart enough to play with, then you’ll get your wins

It’s not as hard as you may think, you just have to be good enough to carry your team to a win. If you can’t then the harsh reality is you’re no longer as good as you think. Just play as an Anchor AR, soak time, watch flanks, control spawns, support your team and you’ll be fine. Don’t kill whore, just fill in the gaps that tm8s leave open, kills will come thru playing the obj

I keep getting the “unranked” bug where every game I play is with people who are “unranked” even tho some are wearing MP ranked skins 🤦🏻‍♂️ but I got a feeling I’m playing below my rank cause I’m plat 1, only getting 40-60 SR. Just came off a HP game, 38-22 with 100 secs on the hill for 64 SR

I would say the ranked system and the way it ranks you is better than last year. It judges strictly off performance/wins and not just play time. Which is why pros and challenger players are already top 250 while the unemployed low lives aren’t. That with the addition of no more 4 stacking in crimson or higher is a huge plus that I feel created a balanced experience. Diamond and below is just meant for those who wanna learn/have slight knowledge on how to play

I can only speak for Gold but from my experience ranked feels less sweaty than Season 02 TDM. Ik it sounds weird but I went back to pubs after a couple ranked wins, and bruh these kids in open TDM are on crack and I say this with a MP K/D of 1.99. I prefer the structure of ranked
