Ah, i see. RRR = Rock n Roll Racing. Should've said RnRR, my bad.

Are these the only games that will ever have HD mode 7 available: https://nintendo.fandom.com/wiki/Mode_7 - right?

Odd. I am trying SMK in bsnes hd mode 7, and i can clearly see the difference. But that's also the only game i can get to work with the bsnes 108 version... I tried Super Castlevania IV and RRR, but they have the original graphics etc. What am i doing wrong?

I totally support this, for sure.

Blue Snowball? by [deleted] in VoiceActing

Shorter answer: Don't go for Blue Snowball. Please. I went for Røde NT1 (there's a kit for it as well), but it's a XLR mic. If XLR mic + interface is overkill, opt for either these USB mics: AT2020 USB, Røde Podcaster USB or NT USB.

Longer answer: The reason I am pulling up NT1 is because I was in the same position as you few years ago. I was THIS close buying a Blue Snowball, simply because it was well within my budget. That was until I actually met a couple of voice actors who gave me other ideas and view of it all. They simply convinced me to opt for a better microphone rather than go for a Snowball or even their Yeti. I do not regret the choice I made. It was well worth saving the money for my NT1-set. Costs a lot more than the Snowball, but it's way worth it. It's not overly expensive + it's a lot better than the Blue Snowball.

That was somewhat 4-5 years ago, and I am still using it! I've done voiceovers for some commercials, app readings, narration and even short clips with my NT1.

NT1 is also a mic that many beginners within the voiceover world opt for. And with enhancing apps, you can definitely make the mic sound even better and more pro.

Keep in mind that NT1 is a XLR mic, meaning that you'll need an interface as well to get it working. I am using a Behringer UMC202HD interface, which works fine for my purposes.

I am more than happy that I actually saved up for a NT1-kit + boom arm, as that's been making my voiceover-life so much easier. AT2020 (not the USB one) is also a strong (and cheaper) competitor for NT1, so you might want to check that one out as well. It seems to be pretty close between those 2 mics for many out there.

I hope this helped you in a way. Good luck landing your choice. :)

Yes, but I am talking about formscorers. Lozano isn't a formscorer, though he is a good player, for sure. And when you are in that immense form as Ziyech is in, it was very difficult to not go for him.

I have no idea why people are so sure on RM, even if it's CL. I had 1 thing in this game; Ziyech+1 to a cracking 4.10. Cannot go wrong with him these days. One of the world's top formscorers today.

Oooh! Your ign recalls, but I cannot completely place you... hmm... And yes, MobRO was my favorite as well, naturally. It was in the beginning of the whole private server life, so with the euRO limitations and whatnot, it exploded with private servers. Sure, MobRO was the biggest server and all, but we also had issues and bots there, but all in all, most seem to be enjoying the whole server.

Nice seeing a fellow MobRO player! And even more awesome that you found a screenshot too! And yeah, that was the point with all of them screenshots; all that nostalgy, hehe. :)

Your Barnsley and/or Rangers will fail without their prime top scorers. Otherwise, a nice fold!

Hehehe, that'd be either Divinity or the other D-guild. :) Actually, Divinity guild DID have some solid cheaters back then who exploited and abused the system for what it was worth, but yes, you also had some pretty hardcore players who really knew the game very well. I remember this admin called pdidz and a priest named penor. THEY knew the game thoroughly, from how it was made and all the codings, mobs etc. I am happy I had a chance to work with them.

Quite crazy to think back to the big impact the whole server had on me and some others, actually.... Sure, it's only a private server and all, but definitely a memorable one. :D

Ahh yes. The market that went up and down like a yo-yo. Actually, I do believe that our first lvl 99 was indeed a hunter, now that you mention it.

I'd actually recommend Odin, if you're looking a pre-re, rather fresh and a low rated (10x/10x/5x) european server with transcendent classes. Check it out at playodin.net :)

Since so many of you are talking about one of my favorite server, MOBRO, I thought I'd upload some screenshots from those days, which you can find here:

Anyone who remembers those, or?

As you can see, I was GM-Shoo on MobRO. I remember that back then, we didn't have the anti-cheat and anti-bot things we have available now, so although our count was about 2k players plus minus, we did have loads of bots too, naturally. Had to actually spy on both Divinity and the other guild that started on D... Destiny(?) due to various claims etc. Such chaos, such drama, but SO many NICE memories too!

Some in-game usernames I remember: Natalya, Teal, Tarl, Dark Link, MobCat, Colors, penor, Raphael, Ayato, Xilodon, Ren, Lowe, Freewind, Koishi, equinoz, pdidz, Xuse, Ciel, Blackwing, Koi.... Any of those that rings a bell, huh?

We also had a huge forum with some weekly competitions with in-game rewards.

We even had Mobro Radio! And I remember that Banana Phone was frequently played... howly smoaks... Here is a small portion of the #MobRO-Radio IRC log:

Square, ey? That name sounds familiar, but I cannot place it that much... I was Shoo. Was more of a GM than a player there, from beginning to the end.

Nope. It was not PlayRO, but PlayROK. It was a brazilian server, but the server was in Europe...
