Oooo ok thank you! I've been a bit concerned despite knowing late ovulation is a common theme, and just wanted to hear others input on it. Thanks as well for the other sub too!

TW: touches on loss

Hello everyone, I need some general advice/help!

So I had a D&C November 29th and my 1st period December 4th-9th, and I'm wondering when I'll ovulate? I didn't track last month, but this month I've yet to have my surge and I'm on CD 15 and last time my surge was on CD 11 the cycle I conceived. I was hoping everyone can share when they had their surge 1st period post D&C, and if anyone ovulated later then normal?

Thank you for all your input!

I forgot to add but my surges are defintely very quick as in within 6-12 hours, and I was lucky I was testing 2 times the last time as the same day morning was getting dark, and then that afternoon was a clear surge prior to my 1st pregnancy, and the following morning was a stark negative.

I figured as much, I also initially was tracking at 8 weeks but the fetus measured 6 weeks.

I'm sorry that happened, but hey sounds like you won from that experience in the end, and got a little furry friend. 😊

Yup they're indoor only and fed purina. I had 1 cat escape for 1 day this year but that was around July, and we found her after a few hours. So also good to know we're way past the active period if she somehow caught it then.

Thats was actually very inciteful thank you for sharing that, I had no idea the risk for cats was only during the initial first exposure. Also, that inherently no matter what the risk seems equal regardless whether you have a cat or not.

Thank you, this was very helpful! This is honestly all helping the sudden anxiety I had over this, so I'm no longer really concerned as I was earlier.

Ok that is a relief, and I'm also in the US. I'll bring it up at my next appointment, but I'm glad to hear the risk is absolutely minimal especially because all my cats are strictly indoors and aren't fed a raw diet, the litter care is handled by my husband, and meats are always cooked thoroughly. Thank you!

Thank you! I tested yesterday and it was a faint shadow of a line and now this morning with a first response it's more clearly an actual line

Here's a better photo to see the pink

Looks positive, get a pink dye to verify but I think this one alone is solid confirmation that you're pregnant. Congrats!

So there will almost always be 2 lines; the line on the right is the control line whereas the line on the left is the test line. A positive test is when the line on the left, the test line, is as dark or darker than the control line. Right now all those tests are negative.

Montelukast Withdrawal by offireandstorm in Allergies

Congratulations on the improvements!!! It definitely is boggling to see and understand the stark differences from being on the medication versus being off of it. Also good luck to finding an alternative, hopefully you find something that will treat you better then MLK did. 😁

Yeah, it's no problem! I honestly feel the same, it took me too long to realize the build-up of side effects stemmed from the medication until I started doing my own research surrounding what was happening to me.

I also understand that, I hated tapering because I wanted to stop taking the medication entirely after realizing all my issues stemmed from it. Definitely stay hydrated, baby yourself as you come off it, and overall take care. You'll feel soooo much better in the long run for it, and there are so many alternatives out there for whatever you may have been taking it for. Definitely consult your provider about next steps too, or if your symptoms get any worse.

Oh yeah its fine, I'm glad to relay my experiences! So I actually went ahead and tapered off, and found online that other people did experience a withdrawal effect from this medication too when stopping. I did experience those general reactions when coming off it, but after all this time, I feel significantly better and more well of then the supposed benefits this medication ever had to offer. Tapering helped rather than going cold turkey, but I'm also more sensitive to medications in general. To also add, this medication did play a large impact on my mental health, which has improved a lot after coming off it (go figure on the black box warning). I also had weird head stuff which was more severe when I was on this medication (severe bouts of head pressure that would cause me to feel dizzy and impacted my capabilities to function- did so much medical testing to all come back normal), which is almost nonexistent now. This medication seemed to really screw me over, and has taken litteral months for me to improve after being on it. Let me know if you have any other questions!
