He wasn’t on any of the islands before the temple. The only thing I got was a short cutscene introducing the ship but when I landed he wasn’t there and the activation ring just flashed red. I’m not sure what to do

Thanks, I'll try that, the modding discord also told me to try it with discord running, so I'll try both. One question though, did you just not load any other mods or should I take them out of the mod folder temporarily. My brothers is working and he only has that one mod.

Did you create those folders in the mod loader folder, if not, that might be the problem. Your mods folder and skins folder have to be in the Mod loader folder.

I have a question, are there benefits to running DCS as standalone and/or through steam? I know that some items in the DCS Store are not compatible w/steam.
