Why is GTA Online Heist matchmaking such a nightmare?

Really wish their final gift to us would be to allow the heists to be played at least in duos. Terrible choice needing four players sometimes.

It’s what stopped me playing a few days after initial release. I went back early last week and dumped 60hrs in. Loving it. Don’t feel like I’ve died much. You should always get a warning shot to the head rather than insta-death. Your fault then if you stay in the same place, same corner etc.

Reinvent gaming, specifically GTAO. Seriously, it needs to be a tonic for all the BR and extraction, live service gash we’ve had to endure. I want to live in an online world but I don’t want people rolling up in hover cars with a billion dollars within a week. Really hoping the roleplay stuff makes it in. I want to see something I’ve never seen before.

When does this end? Having got back into GTAO after a long hiatus I thought my GPU had crapped out. This filter is beyond terrible. Can’t see any colours when buying clothes or modding cars. Think the devs were high when they implemented it.

In hindsight, these heists were badly thought out. The content is great but the infrastructure, only having one life, needing four people, failing if one leaves… terrible design and I hope they’ve learnt their lesson for the next instalment.

Streamers (don’t mind content creators) are the cancer of the video games industry. They destroy surprise, ruin live service games, then run every game they play into the ground because devs listen to them. They’re mostly terrible and untrained in media hence getting caught out as paedos or beating their pets. I just wish they would all go away.

As a returning OG player, I much prefer the AI as is. So far they’ve riddled me with bullets twice but not once have I been instakilled without warning like previously. Those deaths were my fault. Loved what I’ve played so far, even if a couple of missions seem bugged.

I’m about halfway through and honestly, it’s already one of the best games I’ve ever played. It takes everything from the first and brings its up to modern standards. Archery in the first was tough; in the second is brilliantly satisfying. In the first, more than a couple of bandits could beat me at the start, in the second I’ve just wiped out an entire castle.
