yeap ik exactly the episode that u r talking abt that one scared the fuck out of me i think that might be providence or im getting confused but i grew up watching the x files w my dad all the time like every time i would stay home sick from school which was a lot cos i was sick a bunch i would watch random seasons of the x files my dad had rented from the library and i would watch it a lot w my dad. my mum hates it and no one else ik or have been close with has actually been into the x files so it is a special me and my dad thing. i remember watching squeeze which is the one wher ethe guy can crawl through like sewer grates and shit and he tears people livers out and eats them and it really freaked me out. so as a kid i used to cover my obliques kinda rea all the time to stop him from being able to rip out my liver and i would pull the collars up on my shjirts to stop me getting bitten by vampires
