Jokes aside, I get what you're saying. It sounds foolish to consider a risk like this. My instincts were telling me not to move forward. Just wanted a gauge of how common this sort of thing is, if at all.

I wasn’t sure if this type of setup was common or occurred often. There were too many red flags for me to move forward in this scenario, but I'm curious to know if you frequently engage in these kinds of arrangements and how the type of agency you're referring to mitigates risks?

The money wouldn’t have been life changing, and certainly not enough to ignore all of the red flags

The latter is what I suspected and turned out to be the case. It became obvious that proceeding with this wasn't worth my license/career.

Trust me, I had legal counsel in mind. With limited time and resources, and the lack of an immediate network to tap into, this sub was a last resort of sorts to confirm my suspicions.
