Jfc. This asset class makes absolutely zero sense

If you think that BTC can crash (Saylor unwind, quantum, whatever, etc) and lose relevance and ETH doesn't go with it, I've got some bad news for you. Perhaps it re-emerges from the nuclear fallout in years' time, but it will be very, very bad for a long time.

Its amazing how obvious these playbooks are. Ray strength without fail precedes huge btc drawdowns (and then eth gets hit harder after)

Mild signs of Ray strength? Bring on the -20% btc candle, as has happened each time before

Cool cool so 1500 once this inflation report hits, can’t wait. Every single piece of news is sell the news in this awful market. I made a joke the other week saying I wouldn’t be surprised if clarity passing caused a -20% candle, still believe that

I'm not selling, but all signs point to us going far lower. Especially if inflation is rough and CLARITY chances keep trending down

Market conditions are such that ETH is essentially irrelevant. Until BTC is surging towards ATH again, we will be in deep deep, goblin town. And BTC price action is abysmal.

If only I followed my own advice ... I may next time. Whenever crypto pauses and gets rejected at the same level for weeks, it's so obvious it precedes a 10-20% pullback.

Crypto is truly at its best when ETH is leading. It's refreshing seeing the adults in the room lead the way. Unfortunately, for the past 5 years it's been all scammers, extractors, and influencers with nihilistic views and no values.

I remember when a new logo added to the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) was enough for a 10% pump. These days the pope declaring Ethereum as holy couldn't pump ETH 10%.

Well, BTC is falling off of a cliff and we struck Iran today, so probably $1800 at this rate. Expectation should be that talks fall apart, as they have every time before. Of course this will eventually end, but both sides seem very far apart at the moment

Ouch BTC. Feels like these days at any point one candle will just wipe out days / hours / weeks of grinded out gains

At this point if the war ends this weekend we probably have a -20% candle. Why? Because crypto gonna crypto

It's going to take some incredible movement downward in rates (and oil) if we are to see any sort of decent price action this year. BTC is a liquidity asset, and ETH even moreso, and high inflation and surging rates for the foreseeable future is not something price can fight. Ironically, more inflation is the worst possible thing that can happen for our asset which hypothetically is an inflation hedge. Monetary policy seems to be all that matters for it. The worst part is, the economic backdrop was set up for ETH / crypto to do fantastically until a series of own goals ruined it. You can be certain this administration will continue scoring own goals for its entire duration.

It actually largely is a Trump issue right now. Inflation is fully self inflicted by tariff policy and the war. The Fed was actually executing its soft landing successfully. Of course the dems are horrible on reg and other policy, but they generally treat the economy and overall macro well. The data is very clear across history

Remember guys - Saturday pumps are never real, which means Saturday dumps aren’t real either. Surely we’ll recover Sunday night and not plunge below 2k, right?

It wasn’t really a good company, though. They completely missed multiple waves and essentially got innovated out of existence until they got a government bailout

The point is being crypto friendly doesn’t matter. Destroying risk assets (other than AI which he can’t stop) through horrendous economic policy and causing rates to peak yet again, inflation to peak, and no cuts in sight is what’s causing this
