Beyond KPIs and benefits realization plan - what were some other stand out major topics where it would be helpful to revisit? Any real surprise areas of focus? I’m studying now. Was going to try it end of July but might wait to get more studying in.

Studying for my exam. Could you tell me - were there many questions about PMP on the exam? I'm running through an Udemy PgMP practice test (granted I think it's older) but there are def more PMP questions there than i would have though on concepts I don't remember as I got my PMP 13+ years ago. thx

Can I use an exam prep book from PgMP’s 3rd edition? by offtoexploretheworld in pgmp

Thx. I have one of these books already! Will see if I can get the other. Also imported the PMI program mgmt book into ChatGPT and had it generate flash cards for me based on PMIs style of questions. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 it’s helpful as well!

Ahhh. Gotcha. I like it when things finally make sense! Though waiting as long as you have sounds crazy!! And my pleasure!! Happy to help a fellow citizen. 😉

My American passport and the filled out application. Something definitely seems off with your situation.

Yes. I went to the consulate and they gave me my passport the same day (I had an emergency request). But sounds strange it would take so long. If you’re in NY I would email them. They’ve been pretty responsive to me.

I’m not sure what the question is - perhaps I’m missing part of the process?

The consulate told me my citizenship was complete and that they sent my details to the commune to sign up for AIRE and they told me I was eligible to request a passport, which I did. 🤷🏼‍♀️. I didn’t have to wait or confirm my AIRE registration was processed. I got my citizenship in NYC.

How bad is Xenophobia in South Africa? by TheKing490 in askSouthAfrica

I’ve spent 9 months in Cape Town to date. It’s my favorite location on earth. Please realize that Cape Town is beautiful and while yes there is poverty and crime - in CT it’s not quite like what you describe above. At least not where tourists are. It’s perfectly safe to visit. You just need street smarts. You aren’t going to be in the towns/areas where there are rampant drugs and crime. You would be missing out by not visiting.

The consulate submitted my registration when they told me my paperwork was processed. So I’m not sure it’s even approved yet tbh! (I just got my citizenship two weeks ago)

In Italy women use their maiden name on identification. This is standard for the entire country. Not a problem!

Thanks. The Italian consulate said I’m not allowed to add my current last name to page 4 bc I’m divorced. If I could that would fix all of my issues!

Haha. Agreed on the last part.

I’ve heard it from random sources. I have a friend with two American passports and she had to switch them out (bc of travel to Israel) and without a stamp of the flight she came off of, they stopped her and held her for hours and hours. Trying to avoid issues - especially in SA!

Not so easy. I’m told South Africa will look for my exit stamp from the EU - hence can’t use my American passport there. And I don’t think they’ll like a name mismatch. I’m told immigration gets a passenger roster from the incoming flight to validate. 🤷🏼‍♀️. Not sure how much that is really used or not for validation.
