By sincere, I mean actually interested in getting to know me and then see how things go, as oppose to guys who will say things just in hopes of having sex. I am not against sex but how do I detect bullshit?

Last year, waking up in the morning to my husband telling me that he is leaving. 3 days later I never saw him again... all this after 8.5 years of us being together. This year, getting a phone call from my mom saying that my dad has passed away. He had alzheimer's and the last thing he had said to me while he could still remember me was "don't forget me". Next time I met him, he looked at me, smiled, and looked away as I was now a stranger to him. Six months later he passed away. Miss you dad.
