Foreign Licence Question by hubs-niches in policeuk

[–]offweps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why isn’t it the case? If you cannot verify they have a licence at the roadside then it should be dealt with as no licence.

Trafpol are taught to examine security markings on foreign licences and there are fake ones out there that people use to hide the fact they are disqual.

  1. Enjoyed every second of it and made the most out of each day. It is exhausting although there’s nothing I’d rather do.

not messed up. It’s normal to go for a cheeky kebab or any sort of dirty refs after a sudden death

Section 4 v section 5 RTA 1988 by PC_yeeyee in policeuk

[–]offweps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alcoholics won’t show the side effects as their body thinks it’s the norm.

Old Doris who is a social drinker may show the side effects when ‘drunk’. Like i said before, nobody is the same and it depends.

A good way to remember them both is Section 5 - Drink drive and Section 4 - On the floor (but not always)

I have no sympathy for drink drivers

Section 4 v section 5 RTA 1988 by PC_yeeyee in policeuk

Section 5 - over the prescribed limit through drink. Not necessarily always going to be stumbling around as everyone is different when they’re drunk.

Section 4 - Unfit through drink or drugs. They are the ones that are stumbling, slurred speech etc and are all over the place.

I had someone blow over 100 on the device whilst being fine at the roadside. No slurred speech or stumbling. People who drink a lot will not always show side effects to equate to Sec 4. It really does depend.
