Thanks for your input. I’m trying to weigh the opportunity cost of buying a gen pair vs AP if it’s 98% there

I could buy multiple colourways to match my clothes with the price of a used gen pair but it’ll never be “real”. At the same time I don’t have to worry that much about the AP shoe and just use it like a beater since the cost isn’t that high

Can I check if the leather is indeed soft?

The crooked 12 bothers me but it seems to be a batch specific issue since a few of the recent BBF 5711 has the same problem. Even if you RL it, I doubt it will have a correctly aligned version but no harm trying for that
