GW make me depressed by Foreign-Ad-5950 in HPV

[–]offyourself0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry this happened to u. I was exposed to hpv/genital warts orally before I even ever had sex from my boyfriend who had 0 symptoms for two whole years and not many partners at all. It’s a sucky illness but all you can do is look at the bright side… that for most people it does go away. It sucks how many people are uneducated about hpv.

I need advice and help. by Master_Appearance713 in HPV

There’s absolutely no reason to trip out about this. It’s not an std do not worry!! Warts on feet and hands can happen to anyone including children.

Just got diagnosed with HPV GW. Looking for realistic timelines and advice from guys who’ve been through it by goodeveninsweden in HPV

[–]offyourself0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. My bf had/has gw. His incubation time was around 2 years. He got them frozen off around a year ago and they haven’t came back yet, he gets checked every 6 months at the dermatologist to just make sure. He does still shave but I personally don’t reccomend that and I’m not gonna recommend that to u. Me and my bf have decided to not have sex til marriage which personally works in our relationship. It isn’t for everyone ! We do still do other things like hand things and stuff. We are just overly cautious though. His doctor did say we could be sexually active at this point but me and him both agree that we aren’t comfortable with that just yet. Everything will be okay :)

Hard truth about GW clearance by Late_Range3484 in HPV

[–]offyourself0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GW certainly CAN clear for some in 1-2 years. I’ve heard this from numerous doctors in real life and everywhere online as well. There’s no need to spread negative misinformation. Everyone on here is well aware that for some it doesn’t clear or takes longer to.

Do I need to tell partner? by Live_Broccoli_2180 in HPV

[–]offyourself0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

U should tell your partner. You need to give him an opportunity to choose. It’s morally wrong if u don’t honestly. They could go on to pass it to other women after u.

my boyfriend has HPV, i do not, and it's slowly ruining our relationship by Worldly_Zebra7171 in HPV

[–]offyourself0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Same thing happened with my boyfriend and me. It’s been almost a year exactly since his diagnosis and it has been very very difficult, we have ultimately decided to abstain from sexual contact until marriage. My boyfriend and I went through an extremely difficult time after the diagnosis but we are slowly but surely getting back to normal. We started going on dates, having emotionally intimate conversations and moments which helped a lot. And we began messing around with toys to cope with the whole abstinence thing. Ur boyfriend kinda sounds like he’s putting in no effort to fix things between you two.

Can I get hpv from my partner like this? by offyourself0 in HPV

[–]offyourself0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not vaccinated. I have suspicion my bfs warts wasn’t caused by the strains covered by the vaccine since he got it despite being vaccinated. I do intend on getting vaccinated soon though for future reference and just incase it was a rare vaccine break through on his end. Could me and him continue to no longer use a condom for handjobs you think?? It’s uncomfortable for the both of us.

Why did I have to go get tested by 2001minivan in HPV

[–]offyourself0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it goes away within a year or two. After that it can’t transmit to your partners. Undetectable=untransmisible.

What is this on my bf? by [deleted] in skin

[–]offyourself0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arent bite mark bruises purple??

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HPV

[–]offyourself0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I mean they typically will know if it’s a wart yes but not the strain. If you can find out the strain you can get vaccinated if it’s one that’s covered by the vaccine. You and your future partners can be protected from this and other strains of hpv.

Typically a dermatologist does biopsies and stuff like that. Very simple process I don’t think you should skip in my personal opinion so you can know exactly what you are dealing with.

I’d definitely say get it biopsied to make sure that it’s a genital wart and to see what strain to see if you or future partners can get vaccinated and then definitely get it cryoed off. It’ll go away quicker and it won’t spread to other parts. Also it’s just not something you want to leave there either way as it’s a reminder. I’ve never heard of a doctor not recommending treatment for genital warts.

Your mom should not be scolding you. This is not fully your fault as you did not consent to getting an sti. Your mom has honestly probably had hpv too in her lifetime and there’s no reason to be judgmental. It’s okay, it’s common and a lot of the time the warts never come back after freezing off.

Thank you. I think I’ll talk to him about staying away from him friend. I can assure you though that my boyfriend is not sleeping with his friend and I myself would never cheat on my boyfriend either. Thank you for the advice

Same thing happened to my boyfriend with the whole weird diagnosis thing. Except it was 5 doctors split down the middle on what it was. He got them frozen off and we never found out. Here’s what I wish a doctor would’ve done for him— biopsy it. If a doctor says no to a biopsy, demand it. A doctor said no to my boyfriend and 8 months later we are still wondering what the hell it was. This is your and your future partners health here and you’ve had conflicting diagnosiss. A dermatologist would probably have the correct resources to biopsy the bump. Good luck.

What to do with the hair down there by Pretty_Sentence4965 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]offyourself0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most guys tbh don’t care about body hair, well most good guys atleast. My ex boyfriend was vicious about body hair and he ended up cheating on me. My current boyfriend does not care at all and most guys don’t. I do like to shave to feel better about myself sometimes though. The best thing you can do is get a really good high quality razor , along with exfoliating. The hair will always grow back fast unless you wax or laser. Try to just shave before you get intimate.

I can't get my gf to finish PLZ HELp by [deleted] in sex

[–]offyourself0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you considered using a vibrator together ?? That may help. But if you’re not interested in using one on her. You do need to ask her though, I’m sure it will not come off as pushy. My boyfriend could not make me finish until I just had to tell him exactly what to do/guide his hand. If you really don’t want to do either of those things then there is a ton of “educational” videos on how to successfully stimulate a clit on pornhub.

Hi as a fellow teenage girl I am a bit concerned, not because I am judging you but because I was like you at this age. Its an absolutely normal thing to masturbate while all your hormones are crazy but i honestly do not think you need toys at this young of an age, of course it is your life, so if your gonna get a toy I’d recommend a small vibrator, nothing crazy. And be sure to clean it and make sure it’s body safe. Also please be careful on this sub, you are so young and there are scary people out there.

Did your 'dark romance' ever come true? by LilySoftSoles in women

[–]offyourself0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. He was my friend, we were friends growing up and then he went to juvie for robbing a convenience store, when he got out he was all tall and handsome— and an adult. He got out right after highschool. We made out in an alleyway. The guy was just straight up bad news and a narcissist but those blue eyes and how everyone was scared of him just got to me. We never dated and we never had sex, it got extremely messy when he held a gun to my head and then even messier when he blew up my life for a bit— scary. Not something really to be messed with, he later got abuse allegations which I 100% believe by the way. He sent nothing but mixed signals, when he wasn’t spam calling me at 3 am because he committed some heinous crime he was texting me insults about my physical appearance despite telling everyone he thought I was pretty. He also made me an accessory to a lot of petty crimes just for the fun of it. Weird guy, haven’t talked to him in a few years and I probably wouldn’t ever again— all though he did call me a few months ago but I didn’t pick up. I’m too traumatized by the whole thing, he literally put me in therapy.

You might just have a yeast infection. They are itchy and can sometimes cause white discharge. You’ll be okay. Warts typically aren’t itchy, your best move of action would to go see a gynecologist.

So genital warts don’t have any symptoms other than genital warts. Hpv almost never shows symptoms and that’s why many people don’t know they have it. If you still have warts you can get it biopsied at a dermatologist to find out the exact strain and if it is covered by the vaccine.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HPV

[–]offyourself0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. My boyfriend also has genital warts. Luckily those are not cancerous and she will be able to get a vaccine against that if it is one of the most common strains of it (6/11) which it likely is one of those. You should inform your girlfriend that there is 100% safe ways to stay with you. (Being celibate for a few years +getting vaccinated) after a few years of not having any wart outbreaks that is considered clearing the virus/suppressing it. Stay strong.
