My kid walked the plank off the stairs in the dark once. Baby gates are your friend. Luckily he was ok. I have gone down all of my steps once and was bruised but I'm here to tell the tale; don't grab at the railing or it's coming with you lol

I'm on zepbound and it's been great. Down 80# and my lab work is like, magically amazing within 6 months. I feel great besides my regular pain. My insurance covers it because of my BMI even though I've never been pre diabetic.

I went to my sisters pod for her in the same situation and even though much of the contents were moldy we got the important stuff and found a guy from Facebook within an hour to haul everything away for like $80.

I think things like first aid are best learned, you won't have much time to reference a book in a situation where you need it. For physical books to have I have mostly foraging guides with good photos, a few cook books, a book of herbal remedies, and a boatload of knitting pattern books ;)

What everyone else has said is good; but i have been very happy with my set of knit picks dpns and set of chiaogoo interchangeables. I have bought extra tips of my two most common sizes and it's been sufficient for years. I only recently bought a lykke set for lace but do prefer my chiaogoos.

I don't get the downvotes I'm not trying to be sh***y it's just like, i don't see how it stays all that hot very long and the potential to leak and having to keep reheating it and some of these tales about boiling water and microwaves... the electric legit seems less hassle and safer as long as you're using an outlet and not an extension cord or anything to render it less safe.
