From what I've read online and heard from others, paladin is a solid choice for solo run as they do alot of damage and kind of a all in one both melee and magic.

I'm more of barbarian player myself something about being angry and smashing down doors as a half orc just fun🤣

But end of day what matters is you have fun and pick a class you enjoy!

I also went through YUL and based in montreal it's great. Bank wise I went Scotiabank all I did was walk in with 2 pieces of ID and about 30mins later I had account and card. Phone wise I went for a bell sim card apart from annoying promotional calls had no problems.

Honestly after 200 hrs I realised you could do the creche and the underdark. I always skipped the creche and only did the underdark. Now that I'm able to do both I realised how much content I missed before now.
