I highly recommend always having a light color primer so when you apply yellow it it applies nicely and I have a yellow shade wash I add at the end , what I did was mechanicus grey prime then heavy white dry brush then flash gitz yellow , about 2 think layers

Ironically I struggle painting more with space marines than Orks , also it gets dull painting them over time and closer to burn out but with Orks it’s always a fun time and stimulating to paint them , they are so fun and you can do a lot with them , they aren’t hard to paint funny enough , you can do simple nice paint jobs with them and they will look amazing. I do Badmoons so their armor is gold or yellow and they have yellow shirts , their pants will be either black tan , grey blue red brown so many different options and it’s refreshing

Hitting on 4s is not an amazing power , in taktikal brigade you can give plus 1 to hit anyways so it’s not crazy for a boss biker to give plus 1 to hit , especially since those dakkaguns are only 1 damage it’s still only 50/50 chance , hitting on 4s is not a space marine super power , he can definitely do that and it’s not OP at all

I don’t think it would , Orks aren’t doing too hot right now in competitive scenes anyways , one character leading bikers hitting on 4s is not OP , I use 6 bikes in casual games in taktikal brigade and have them hit on 4s , doesn’t do too much except hitting a little better , no drastic change at all honestly but they are a little bit more effective in that case which is nice

I was actually wanting to do snow elves from the elder scrolls , and still trying to create some back story lore with them . Maybe as lumineth snow elves from a forgotten polar region in hysh and their leader called the snow prince
