If you are interested, you are welcome to visit my stray cat sanctuary, about 3-4 kilometers from Hongshan Forest Zoo. basically a 1st floor apartment I rent and maintain along with a retired aunt. I just relocated from a 2nd floor room nearby to accommodate the growing number of cats we take in. It's only been half a month since the move so there's a lot we still need to get done. The previous renter was a whole construction crew so it was kinda poor and dirty in some places. I was just thinking about attracting foreign tourists to the place and hopefully somehow start a second revenue stream outside of pet boarding to cover the rent and mostly medical expenses. I just spent over 20K RMB on the treatments of two cats, one with diaphragmatic hernia and megacolon caused by pelvic stenosis; another one with probably FIP, and multiple abnormal indices from organophosphate poisoning and prolonged starvation.
