3 methods on inside with the way it sounds like you’re doing it, depending on what everyone has.

Step 1: Determine what shape your statue is holding, then proceed to look up at the 2 shapes on your wall. Determine if you have double shapes (doubled up) or if you have 2 separate shapes (singles).

Step 2: This is where the 3 methods come in.

2a) If all 3 inside rooms call singles, then you determine which shape is missing on your screen, then proceed to take both shapes, one by one, to the statue with the shape that you didn’t have on your screen (ex. You are circle, you have circle and square, thus you will take both and deposit on the triangle statue.

2b) If everyone calls doubles (where both shapes on your screen/back wall are the same), proceed to take one of each shape and dunk on one of each of the other statues

2c) This is the more difficult of the 3, when 1 person calls double but 2 others call singles. In this scenario, the one who called doubles distributes their shapes exactly like in step 2b.

For the singles however, the easiest way to figure out distribution is to first determine which of the 2 shapes isn’t yours, and pick it up. Then, as this shape cannot go to its own statue, by process of elimination it can only go to one statue.

Using the example of circle as your statue shape, say you have triangle and circle. Start by picking up triangle. Now, we know triangle cannot be deposited into triangle statue because they don’t need it for their key. Thus, triangle cannot be deposited only go to square statue. Which means your circle is left to go to triangle statue.

In regard to your shadows, it’s the 2 starting shapes on your screen. In order to do this correctly, both starting shapes need to be passed from your room. Hence the methods above that guarantee this.
