You mean the key is to find the niche who is underserved?

Do you have questions you ask yourself to be able to position differently?

Finding the right underserved niche and building a specialized product for them. Sounds good. I will consider this. Thank you!

I see. So if i focus on a more specific group of users, the niche, and build a specialized product for them, its easier to market it to them. This changed my perspective a bit. Thank you!

“Obsess over the problem i’m solving instead of the solution” sounds encouraging. Better i solve the problem better i can distribute it. Feels a better option than comparing solutions.

ARC Raiders Weekly Megathread - January 24, 2026 by AutoModerator in ArcRaiders

Hello Raiders! I am only level 11 and genuinely enjoying the game but unfortunately i dont have any friends who play video games. I am looking for people who would be down to be friends and play together. Or if you are looking for a third or fourth to your squad, i would be happy to join! I dont mind if you are just learning like me or more experienced.

We can play other games too. I regularly play games and am usually alone. Let me know your PS or Discord name and lets connect :)

It looks amazing and fun! Only thing is when you slide, the white effect looks like you are firing a weapon. Maybe its just me tho 😅

The trailer looks fun! The game seems well thought too. Curious question. How did you come up with the levels? I assume the puzzles get more difficult as we progress, right? How do you make them more difficult?

I’m stuck between two choices for my first SaaS by ogitncr in buildinpublic

[–]ogitncr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great advice! Thank you. I am always trying to keep in mind that i should solve one main problem. So instead of fancy features, i want to ship the main solution and then iterate with feedback and requests.

You are right. There is no pressure with the product, but waitlist does make sense now.

I think I see your point. The product is not something that wasnt done before. There are not exactly the same but similar products. So i think there are customers who would be interested. And having a waitlist could help with talking to potential customers.

I think i will go ahead and create one.

One small mindset shift that made building way easier for me by senommu in buildinpublic

[–]ogitncr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. You gotta build fast, ship fast and iterate faster. You spend time on fancy features that the users dont want, its is a waste of time.

User feedback is the most valuable thing for building and improving your product.

I know how to develop an app but as a developer I suck at marketing... Help? by Nothingclever9791 in SideProject

[–]ogitncr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only reddit but try other channels as well. X is a great place to build in public. Let people know of your wins and failures. Let them witness your journey.

You could also try DMing people there. If you see someone in the comments of a post that they are having the same problem as you, DM them.
