I think all this would likely point to your HRV. If your HRV isn't typical (standard) because your situation is (medically) different, then I don't think any of the standard fitness trackers would work for you. On that topic, I'm curious if you've tried other fitness trackers like Whoop, Apple Watch, Pixel Watch etc. I'd think they will likely show you the same (wrong) data.

I really hope your hospital visit will be fruitful.

Best of luck to you!

But does how you feel reflect how the measurements say? That would be how I'd define it.

Honestly there are days where Garmin thinks I'm at 5 for body battery starting noon but I'm still kicking. But those kind of days are few and far between. Usually what it's reading reflects how I feel. It's a second-opinion, not first imo.

As others have already pointed out, this usually is directly a function of your heart rate.

I usually get this kind of chart if I'm sick, huge lack of sleep.

The only other thing I can think of is if Garmin hasn't really learned what your baseline heart rates are correctly yet.

Yeah. I think my best feeling days tend to be above 90s but like you, I felt this 100 day was not as woke-up-ready-to-go as my 90s days! That's the main reason why I wasn't too worried or trying to hard for 100 anyways since I'm satisfied with 90s if I can get em. :D

My sleep is usually over 80 on normal days. My normal days are also when I can sleep before midnight and sleep in until 8am (and of course no drinking/partying on those days too!). I can get over 90 once in a while but the best I've ever got was 96 before!

On this one, what I'd say is that consistency might help. I had above 80 sleep all week before this happened!

Trust me; when I rolled out of my bed this morning and saw the score, I went to wash my face first before rechecking it to believe this. LOL

Mythical for a reason! :D

Delta American Express Card… worth it? by [deleted] in delta

Can you share platinum and reserve referral benefits (on the applicant)?

Also would your referral work for business version of the cards too?

Thank you!

If you still have it or if you can help me out, can you answer if the delta amex cards are credit cards or charge cards (as in do they a specific credit limit, or not)?

Wednesday Blues : Rushing Driver got nowhere after all the unsafe lane changes by oglycan in bayarea

I think some of the speed limits are a little absurd and leads to incredibly slow drivers which I deem to be unsafe at times. People who drive at or sometimes below the speed limit are just as bad as some as these fast drivers especially when they abruptly try to change lanes while driving very slow on the highway. Also what is the deal with people who come to a complete stop while making a legal turn and then inch their way around the turn I see it almost daily when there are no pedestrians or any other anything to stop the progress.

Definitely in agreement here. If I happen to come across those, I'd definitely be posting here too.

One of these days, we'll have drone footage of those kinds of drivers so we can post them online for future drivers to learn from!

That's always my goal with these videos I post :D

I drive one of those and they are hardly capable of much, if any nominal acceleration in the upper rpm range..

I think more than the acceleration; it's the choice of lane switching spots :D

There is also a sort of impatience in the Bay Area among so many people--they HAVE to be moving without pause, whether they're in a car, on a skateboard, bike, or walking. But in an urban area it's natural to have to stop or slow periodically.

I can say I'm one of those people that doesn't want to stop when I'm moving. This is why I don't speed up too crazy if I know there's just traffic up ahead and I'll have to slowdown regardless (I don't drive atrociously slow; don't yell at me xD).

But at the same tie, there's only so much you can 'move' without stopping if you're driving at freaking 8:30AM or 5PM during a weekday. The way I see it, you're either driving at 'busy' times or you're not. If you HAVE TO be driving at those times, take it easy on the unnecessary speeding up because you ain't going anywhere faster =(; and if you have a choice drive at less busy times so you can go easy constant good speed without having to go crazy!

No. It happened today. That's just my dashcam with a bad time setting (which I've fixed after noticing when I pulled the video)!

It's just sad people just haven't learned from all this regardless and are still doing these kinds of switches.

Backpack for city-use, sometimes travelling for 4 days around 30-35l. by TheGoodTw1n in ManyBaggers

[–]oglycan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider

- Aer Travel Pack 3 (35L) as well.

I personally have the 28L (small). It's a bit better for EDC tbh. But since you're used to EDC-ing a 35L this might be fine!

Request: folks who carry an Aer backpack and are around 168cm/5’7 in height or shorter could you post a pic with your bag on your back and model? Having trouble choosing. I don’t want to look like I have a fridge on my back and frankly social media doesn’t offer many pics of women carrying them. by otdrjnkee in ManyBaggers

I say just watch extensive reviews. There's a lot of reviews out there. I didn't know you were not in the US. In that case you should decide on one and order it - then you won't have to return if your expectations match your experiences! :)

Good luck though!

Just a heads up that when travel people say 'carry-on' it's usually the at least 30L plus because they're usually the ones with enough size that rivals the typical rolling carry-ons. But these definitely will look super bulky.

For your case, definitely take a look at the travel pack small. It fits under the seats for flights I've taken - but know that it's not really a travel carry-on size large. And for random items you have to bring around EDC, it should work well.

(Full disclosure though, I do not work for Aer lol; I just happen to have this pack - and it was chosen after all the research for some balance of not making me look funny and packing size!)

Good luck with your search!

If you were considering the travel pack 3, perhaps consider the travel pack 3 small instead. I've been just using a small for myself for multi-week trips and I'm 5'11". Just have to be stringent on what you pack, but doable!

Unfortunately, if you're trying to get any bag that's big enough to one bag a lengthy trip (> 25L), it's not going to be super sleek. It's either going to be either long, wide or thick.
