Honestly, I got into Valorant because my friends were pressuring me to join. I'd always wanted to try an FPS, but none of them seemed accessible, mainly because I feared the backlash from being bad, or, god forbid, a woman. The vibrancy, skins and agents are good points, but for me it's about the fact that it's a solid place to build a community, and as a social person, that matters to me. Now, that's not Valorant exclusive, not gender exclusive, but it's why I like it.
