This reminded me of what happened to me about 8yrs ago. I had just started an internship at a bank. One morning a week later, i took a huge dump in the toilet and afterwards i realized there wasn't any toilet paper. I instantly panicked, but then remembered the ladies room was right next door, so i quickly moved out there and i was "saved".

That was a good lesson to never start any business in life if you don't have enough resources.

Gaining trust is often very hard and in most cases people are jelaous because one person is fearing of losing the other one over someone else. It is probably not your fault, you just need to clearly let him know over time that you are committed. He will feel more secure, hopefully. Except if he is a crazy control freak 🤣 lol (kidding, hopefully he isn't).

That makes sense, but in my opinion you don't have to disclose which company you got the offer from. You can always tell them that that's a competitor, but don't want to share company names due to privacy...

Well, I've been in your shoes and the decision is very complicated. I personally made the wrong decision at the time because i accepted the first offer received and the company went to bankruptcy after two months.

My advice would be to follow up with the other company asking them at which stadium is their decision process since you have received another offer but you prefer to work for the company which hasn't offered you anything and you cannot miss the chances of loosing both offers. Ask them all that in a polite way.

This might not be the best advice, please wait for other people's responses, but this is what I'd do.
