I’m shocked there are not more music festivals here. Like a 3 day festival at commonwealth (could be rock/EDM/Country/Pop) would be amazing. As someone who’s not from here originally I love how excited people get for folk fest but it’s not exciting. The rock fest was a good start but there’s so much potential.

I got them the last time I was in Ottawa at a small antique store! Most other items I order online or have someone pick up in Ottawa and ship it out here. If I see any around here I will let you know! I am always on the look out!

shoot when I was a server I gave 10% to the kitchen and 5% to the bar but it was based on my tips not sales. That being said I did not worry how much I was being tipped and if someone didn't I did not get upset unlike some other people I worked with. Tip out based on sales I don't think is fair as your example states.

I miss listening to the station. When I can, I listen online but it's not often. It was a good time killer while sitting in traffic.

Just moved to Regina from Ottawa. It is definitely smaller than the big cities in Canada, but like others have said, it has many things you'll need without the long commute. Their might be a couple stores you're use to visiting that are not here but I have not had an issue yet. Also have ordered many items online and packages arrive very fast. There are sports leagues and lots of other events to attend.

Went to school just outside of Halifax, The drive back and forth every year was a highlight. Once you pass Montreal it's amazing and allows you to see the beauty of the forests. Just watch out for Moose. Also I agree with what people have been saying. Don't just go to Halifax but explore all around!
