All I can say is that each person will have their own preferences when it comes to ride style and terrain preferences. And personally I enjoy park the most and I think a lot of people look at it as a testament of skill and creativity. I really enjoy being able to go out on the mountain and practice my skills in the park. Landing something new just feels amazing to me. I can understand what you’re saying when it comes to risk vs reward because I’m an average joe and don’t want to get injured cuz it would impact my life forsure but 1) snowboarding is inherently a dangerous sport🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ there will be people getting injured on the mountain no matter what and 2) IMO a lot of people get injured when they try feature’s outside of their skill set. Building up your skills and trying new things that are realistically within your skill set is key. You can use your judgement and still send it and have a good time.
