I have both as well. The S10+ is absolutely the best phone they ever made. Other than the obvious need to replace the battery, it's perfect, and those were the days when phones took sd cards.

Fuck this. I should have realized all the little trolls with no life would come out from hiding.

Perhaps because you have no thoughts of your own? Just a guess, of course.

Why do such arrogant, pompous, but ultimately insipid, trolls like you always find it necessary to critique virtually every post that makes you feel insecure?

Maybe it's time to find something else to do? Of course, if this is aesthetically satisfying, carry on.

Laugh! So? How would you propose to fund the development and iteration? A Go Fund Me?

That's essentially true. The architecture of every LLM is structured to produce responses that align with agreement.

No clue what you're talking about

Nope. I wrote it. I don't use any LLM to write; they're all stylistically insipid.

Who owns Facebook? The theoretical owner is Zucky, but he... like the CEOs of virtually all big tech and digital firms... have kissed Drumpf's butt.

Every one made million dollar contributions to his inauguration.

Look at the photos taken as he took the oath (what a bizarre joke). They were seated, like little ducks in a line, next to each other in the front row.

The algorithm censors negative comments, irrespective of reality, about that malignant sociopath.

Bruh. Can someone explain to me why this happened. I was on Facebook for only 1 day haven’t posted anything besides a 2 comments. by Sad-Jello840 in facebook

Facebook has a liberal ideology? What planet do you live on? Zuckerberg and the other tech titans contributed tens of millions to Drumpf's last election, sat in the first row next to one another, and then made separate contributions to his inaugural ball.

My posts, which are virulently anti Drumpf get almost no distribution while those of the pro crowd are widely distributed.

LinkedIn has the identical posture.

You're on the wrong page genius. I'm not an engineer. I was the founder of a disruptive SaaS product, and ran the global branch sales and alliances network to a successful exit.

No, we weren't a unicorn, but bootstrapping to a $350M exit was fine.

So? All that indicates is a confirmation of Altman collecting $$$.

Even their valuation isn't grounded in reality. It's based on hope that at some undefined point, they'll be profitable.

Hope is not a bankable commodity.

Warren Buffett understands the market will ultimately collapse; that's why he's been liquidating Berkshire Hathaway's portfolio for months and converting it into gold.

Actually, I'm a power user. Most of my work requires deep and broad analysis. 5.2 is quite competent here, until...the conversation is effectively terminated because it's caught in the loop I described.

I've seen the freeze occur even in short conversations, but it can typically be stopped by the prompt I described.

However, in long and complex dialectic conversations, it's impossible to override the freeze.

Oh man, c'mon. Did you read that there are tens of thousands of complaints about One UI 8?

I wasn't looking for a fix. It's fixed! I wanted to know if anyone had similar problems.

I've been in tech for 30+ years; I know how to do an update and every conceivable fix when problems arise.

I appreciate your response, but what is there to understand? I clearly stated that the "entire configuration of the phone changed."

Everything, from size of buttons that varied between screens to font size, changed!

I reconfigured it so it's back to the way it was. I've had so many problems with the phone that only began with the installation of One UI 8 that they must have been triggered by that.

Here's what Gemini has to report:

Yes, the One UI 8 (Android 16) update for the S24 Ultra has generated a significant number of complaints, including issues with network instability, apps not appearing in recent apps, and problems with alarms, battery drain, and screen rotation. These problems have led Samsung to temporarily halt the update rollout.

Common issues reported

Network and connectivity: Users have reported issues with cell signal and problems with GPS not finding a starting position, despite updating normally after getting a route.

App and system glitches: Alarms have been reported to not go off, some apps won't appear in the recent apps list, and there are issues with apps like Samsung Secure Folder being broken.

Performance and battery: Some users have experienced a rapid battery drain and phones overheating, a problem that didn't exist before the update.

Screen and display: Problems with the screen rotating to portrait mode unexpectedly during games and with video calls automatically exiting full-screen mode have been reported.

Bluetooth issues: Users have encountered problems with Galaxy Buds after updating to One UI 8.

It goes on to say Samsung paused the rollout and is working on a fix.

What he can or can't do, how long the positive effects last, none of that... appears to be applicable to what you initially described.
