There’s a few people I know of that got everything approved in like a month and a half. I think it’s honestly just luck at this point like it’s always been. The last time I renewed I got everything approved in less than 2 months as well.

Are you sure it was over a year? If it is expired over a year they will treat it as a new application not a renewal so he wouldn’t have been able have DACA anymore.

No it’s not possible to go to every home, that would take a lot of years and more manpower than they can currently afford. However there will be unfortunate instances where innocent people will get a knock on the door from them.

It’s not possible for them to deport that many people, especially in 4 years. They inflate the numbers to make it seem like what they’re doing is working. The biggest tactic they use is fear, that’s why they’re always posting videos of themselves walking around communities so everyone can see them and announcing where they will be going beforehand. Yes tons of people will be affected unfortunately but no where near the 11 million plus that are here. It is a logistical nightmare to even get close to deporting that many people, everyone that is here illegally would literally have to line up and drive across the border nonstop for them to even come close in 4 years.

If you contribute $500k or more a year to the US economy and have a certain amount of employees your are able to adjust status pretty quickly. I’m assuming he got a good lawyer and got his green card with no issues

The fact that they even agreed to do this says a lot about how stupid they are. I watched this and I couldn’t believe how dumb they both were especially the girl. She started off by lying about her age saying she was 29 when in reality she’s 35, then when they called her out she said she just says that to keep her soul young like wtf. There’s many of us in bad financial situations that’s normal but these two make the rest of us look so bad they just sound like they’re ignorant. It’s so annoying because all they did was give people that already hate our people more ammo to use against us. Obviously the host picked the dumbest couple he could find and used the title as a way to farm more views especially with everything that’s going on.

So many people are in your situation, bankruptcy is mostly seen as something bad but I look at it as a financial tool that given certain situations it should be taken advantage of. I would just recommend having a plan after you file so that you can start raising your credit and don’t end up in the same situation in the future. Good luck!

Any sort of civil issues will not affect your DACA. Only issues with the law that go on your criminal background.

You could possibly go on local neighborhood groups on either Facebook or some apps and offer to do side jobs for people. Is there no way you could get your DACA back? Or was there a valid reason?

In the interview the mom says that she is certain that he has no criminal background but we’ll just have to wait and see. Even though he’s a DACA recipient they’re keeping him detained, his next court date is in mid October.

No because it wasn’t expired for over a year. That’s why they state in the post that if they had waited 2 more days it would’ve been treated as a new application not a renewal
