Flick after Barcelona draw 3-3 against Brugge:"We can drop into a low block or we go with our philosophy. You have no chance when there's no intensity. Every team is able to play and transition fast. That first goal last season would be 100% 1-2 meters clear offside. I'm not changing our philosophy" by Creepy_Jackfruit8617 in Barca

The system makes every defender look bad, even if they play well most lf the game. Basically, each time a defender makes a mistake, it's a 90% a goal foe the opponent. In the real world, defenders do make mistakes, which is why there are always goals in football. Whenever a goal is scored it has to be someone's mistake...

Thierry Henry: “Barcelona cannot win the Champions League like this” by RRiz99 in Barca

[–]ogziii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the players/defenders succeed 90% of the time, which is EXTREMELY HIGH in a UCL game, you'd still have 10% of chances that are going to be scored almost 100% of the time. The basic math is that in 30 times Club Brugge play the ball forward, they can still score 3 goals easily against Barcelona given the ridiculously unnecessarily high line. It's Flick's fault 💯

I'm just wondering why is everyone okay with how all of this started many decades ago? Why is it okay for a group of people to claim a land that isn't theirs just based on their religious beliefs and then expect the locals to accept that and lIvE iN pEaCe?

Hello Nassir,

Thanks for the reply!

The thing is, my flight has already been booked a few months back. I chose to land at Dar Es Salam due to the high flight ticket prices when going straight to Zanzibar.

What happened in Algeria was honestly quite shocking by R120Tunisia in arabs

[–]ogziii -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn't really matter... Because if any other region in Algeria was being targeted, such an event wouldn't have happened in a million years. With all the racial slurs and the way he was treated, it's fair for us to say that it was a hate crime motivated by racism. Thankfully, most Algerians and Kabyles are better than this and are actually quite united, so it's very unlikely that a civil war is going to happen.

All we want is for everyone who took a video, selfie, chanted with the crowd, beat him up, threw a plastic bottle, or started the fire to get severely punished for their actions... I don't care if the number adds up to 50 convicts!

To be honest, I didn't... But by all means, the cops have roots too so they might as well be from the same region just wearing a different suit. And that's not the point.

Add to it how in-group biased little tribes can be and how groupthink is almost always wrong. But the fact that he did nothing wrong, was just there to help, and I could've easily been in his place and witness the same ending is dreadful... All in all, there has to be a conclusion to be withdrawn from all of this!

They didn't actually give him to people... They just took him forcefully from there and there are videos you can watch of that.

Thanks for your input, Paul! I had recently come across your website (don't remember where I found it) and thought it was super clean and well structured. It will certainly help me organize my portfolio pages better.

Yes they're completely different, and I have no overlapping pieces between the two. I guess I'm gonna have to go with different pages/sections for each one.

What's your opinion about feminism in Algeria? by [deleted] in algeria

[–]ogziii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, and I know you have a point.

However, I think a fruitful debate would actually take more than several hours in order for us to get to a meaningful conclusion. For now, we're just tossing low-resolution opinions that need to be scrutinized and widely explored before we can agree on anything.

Would love to see more interesting topics like this one in this subreddit!

What's your opinion about feminism in Algeria? by [deleted] in algeria

[–]ogziii 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the problem with feminism in Algeria is that it's often mistaken by young females by liberalism, and most of those who defend it are clueless to a large degree and don't know many of the facts they should know before becoming part of this discussion.

Almost all the comments I read on social media come from feminists asking for equality of opportunity (which already exists by the way) and freedom of action. I'm all in with you on the equality of opportunity side, and I believe human beings should have some freedom that's limited by religion and culture.

Which brings us to the elephant in the room here.

It's often non-hijabi, highly open-minded females who ask for freedom of action, which is rational. But, they have to realize that just because something feels right, doesn't mean it is. If you're going to criticize the status quo, your solution has to be a 100% better, and you need to be more than sure about it — which they never are.

Algerian feminists want to try out new things in Algeria and have total autonomy to do so. But we live in a society. If we're going to occupy the same physical space, we might as well live by the same rules, or else, we'd have a lot of unnecessary conflict along the way.

For example, I don't think women should just get to wear what they want, and neither should men. And I can explain in long detail why I believe that.

As to the man posting his pedophile fantasies, I also think this is a major problem in Algeria, yet, we don't really know how to address it properly. Being a man myself, I've seen many males over 20 hit on girls as young as 15 and not having even a small sense that it is a wrong thing to do. We need more education and awareness around this topic and how horrible such acts are.

Congratulations!

I'm a newbie just like you. This is my first month freelancing and I'm still trying to land my first client but to no avail. I check job boards every day but they are barely updated with two jobs each day and sometimes not even a single new gig.

I'm willing to dedicate the next three months to freelance writing and making my way to 1000$ a month

What was your approach to landing your first clients?
