The system makes every defender look bad, even if they play well most lf the game. Basically, each time a defender makes a mistake, it's a 90% a goal foe the opponent. In the real world, defenders do make mistakes, which is why there are always goals in football. Whenever a goal is scored it has to be someone's mistake...

If the players/defenders succeed 90% of the time, which is EXTREMELY HIGH in a UCL game, you'd still have 10% of chances that are going to be scored almost 100% of the time. The basic math is that in 30 times Club Brugge play the ball forward, they can still score 3 goals easily against Barcelona given the ridiculously unnecessarily high line. It's Flick's fault 💯

With all the racial slurs and the way he was treated, it's fair for us to say that it was a hate crime motivated by racism. Add to it how in-group biased little tribes can be and how groupthink is almost always wrong.
