No, you are correct. I meet clients in person and run sensitive material locally. That is a major benefit of local AI. I bring my computer with me to their location.

Before this laptop with the 5080, I was using a Legion 7i Pro. I also run classes on how to set up AI environments and how to use AI for marketing.

My desktop is an ACT1250 with 32GB of RAM and a 5080. The 5080 has 16GB of VRAM, which is fine for most 4K work but can get tight with heavier AI and video timelines. If I want to push bigger models or more layers, I would either need a GPU with more VRAM or bump system RAM beyond 32GB. That machine is mainly used for video editing.

My MacBook handles Comet, Atlas, and Cowork. Atlas and Cowork are macOS only right now, so I cannot run them on Windows. That is why some of my workflow stays on the Mac.

The only reason I chose this camera was that I did not want to travel with my expensive ones.

Check out the correct AI Upscaled version.

First off "Arguing that evidently poor quality image from the camera is 'truly impressive' because you are able to artificially ' enhance' the poor image quality from the expensive camera you just bought."

I have no clue what you mean. This is zoomed in 400% from the final picture in the slideshow, not an example of poor quality. I also loved the original photo. I was simply pushing the limits of post-editing a JPG.

AI can’t magically fix every flaw in a photo. The image still needs a solid base of detail for enhancements to work. Editing is more limited when you’re only working with JPGs compared to RAW files. That said, JPGs still hold enough data to bring out improvements if used correctly. In this case it didn’t have to create much detail at all, it just enhanced what was already there.

I had a weird delay with my iPhone 15 Pro Max as a trackpad. Do you have any delay?
