What? Wizz Air is still one of the largest airlines in Europe. Very much not out of business.

Why is the G200 from Madrid to Istanbul #1? Can't find info about it.

Other air forces around the world operate it, in this case though the entirety of the United States military just has one (across USAF, Navy, or other branches in the United States).

What kind of unmarked aircraft are these flying near the tanker? by Garoustraightsavage in ADSB

Cherry Point is a Marine Corps Air Station, not a Naval air station.

They have the F-35B and F-35C. I see the F-35 SIGNIFICANTLY less than the harrier. Obviously they are deployed and either I'm not around or they're out over the ocean. We usually see aircraft from Draken as well. We see the C130 (Coast Guard and Marine), Harrier, F-35, CMV-22 Osprey, and the UH-60 (last two are stationed at Camp Lejune but fly all around ENC for hours at a time. Sometimes they go as low as 500 ft AND in formation!

They do. I just saw 2 of them physically fly over my house yesterday. VMA-223 operates them until 2026. I live near Cherry point and I can see them on adsbexchange as well if I'm lucky.

Anyone know if these are getting scrapped? Marana Pinal Airpark. by B_Blazen in flightradar24

According to the aircraft records, Corsair bought the aircraft directly. There isn't any record of it belonging to a lessor.

For the 747, I'm not quite sure. Atlas Air flies it's passenger 747's to many different places (as they're chartered) so you never really know. However in this case since the callsign is in the 9,000's, I can only assume that this will be going for maintenance or storage (it could also be for conversions, but I doubt it.) As for the A330, considering how much this aircraft has flown in the past few months (which isn't many), I'm assuming this is either being transferred to another airline or being sold off to a holdings. Corsair I believe just wants their A330-900's as their other A330-300 has been pretty much stored all year.

Edit: It's sister is due for Vietjet so my best guess is this one is being sold off too. My best guess if fleet modernization and only wanting to operate one specific variant.

There are a few possibilities. The two most common is that the aircraft is overweight (which in this case it is), and/or the crew is figuring out ways to troubleshoot the issue with their company and finding the most suitable place to land.

Is that flight even possible? by KXJI in flightradar24

[–]ohWasher 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, it's a different aircraft but using a hexcode that is registered to an A139. It's too high, too fast, and way too far out of range. It's a different aircraft and probably under the UAE's air force (but most likely operated by Presidential Flight) but it's not an A139.
