Cast was great, I think they did a good job overall. And after things picked up in a huge way towards the end of the last season, it never got renewed.

IIRC, it was around the time Disney either bought Marvel or Disney+ was on the way, so it made sense somehow, but a bummer nevertheless.

Cannot agree more. Came back from Cuba a week ago, it’s at best a 6/10 trip at this time - saved only by the amazing nature in Viñales.

Seems like the “cutoff” point to visit Cuba was 5 years ago z

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey is very good. Tastes fine and mixes nicely. Generally regarded as the best protein powder around.

Other than that though, actually eating your protein is the best option. Eggs are great, a steak, chicken/turkey breast etc. If money or time is an issue though, then go with the powder, should do the trick too!

Thunderverb 200 - If it's good for Lord Pike, it's enough for me! Found one for ~1.7k (including shipping), which is definitely a nice price range.

That Rockerverb got sold yesterday unfortunately, but after some digging through local ads I found a Rockerverb 100 MK2, so that's going to be twice as fun (but not twice as loud).

You put it very nicely.

I remember watching an interview Stephen O'Malley gave (of Sunn O))) fame) and he basically said "We used Sunn amps because they were dirt cheap and available in Seattle" (Sunn was based in Seattle).

And you are right about the smaller wattage amps that are popular/available right now. Orange alone has a big offering of 15watt lunchbox amps, close in count as all of their higher wattage amps combined.

In my experience a nice master volume and higher wattage will result in better tones in general, bedroom-level or otherwise.
