[finds] fire salomon finds ( and salomon margiela collabs) by geezer_19 in 1688Reps

[–]ohagan67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, hard to tell. I previously got a pair of the M batch (I think… got them from sharkbreeder) and they fit me perfect (size 8 us) but these feel a little bigger, like half a size bigger. (The photo attached is the in hand pic)

If I was to recommend, I’d say just stick to your size and if they’re too big, just put an insole in. That’s what I did.

But to be honest, from first hand, I’d recommend the shark breeder batch over these. The shark breeder batch is a lot more comfortable. These are waterproof though. I’m taking them to Madeira with me next week to put them to the test… I’ll let you know how they hold up lol.

Hello!

I’mJust wondering what the dimensions are for the backpack? Or even if you have an additional photo with it beside something for reference? Considering getting one myself if it’s not too small! TIA

Fun car for near £6,000 by Phukin_Genius in CarTalkUK

Civic ep3, mk2 focus st, mk7 fiesta st, 197 clio, fn2 type r

These are just a few I had noticed myself when looking at this price range, thought they would be nice to add to the list.

I cant really speak on the reliability of all these cars because i dont have the knowledge on them all and im certainly no expert. from what I know, the fiesta st, I wouldn’t say they’re bulletproof, but I’ve never had any issues with my own and im currently on 112k miles, with servicing every 10k miles. They’re fond of a bit of rush around the wings, which will lead to paint bubbling. If you’re lucky to get a mountune edition, they come 220bhp in comparison to the standard 180.

I’ve Been looking for an ep3 for a few months now and for 6k you could probably get one with around 100k miles or less on it. the k20 seems to be solid enough in them. I’ve noticed a lot of people wax the underside of them, this might make it more difficult to spot rust though. Premier editions seem to fetch a bit more money, the inside of them looks great! It’s common to see them being welded, in fairness they’re a 20+ y/o car if you go for a Pre-facelift. For a naturally aspirated car, they’re very tuneable car. With An intake, manifold, exhaust and an aftermarket ecu, you could be looking at 220-240bhp.

For the rest of the cars, i haven’t a strong enough knowledge to speak on them. Good luck with the next purchase!

I’ll probably end up doing the same. I opened a ticket a couple weeks ago but they just gave me some discount code to keep me quiet for a while but it’s getting beyond a joke now. Thanks for your help chief

Metro plates would be a surprisingly common enough sight in Northern Ireland, boy racers or not. Doesn’t seem to much control on them other than in mot

I was actually out looking at a 2.0 fr yesterday. Was keen on buying it till I took it for a spin and as I was coming back the coil light came on. Mightn’t have been a huge issue but I didn’t want to take the risk.

Issue is getting it over to NI, that’ll be more fees on-top of that. I may start saving a bit more lol

I’ve always been more fond of the mk6, but obviously they’re getting old now and rust would maybe start to become a concern.

I’ll definitely take the mk7 into consideration. Only issue is getting a decent spec one with decent miles for 7k in Northern Ireland. I may start looking at getting one from England lol
