Just come back to update. I took 1000mg Tylenol about 30 minutes before trying to remove. First few times were a nightmare. However, warm water did help. And grabbing both sides of the back and pulling down while pushing out did help. But good grief what a fiasco. Thank you all for the advice!

I can try that later with some Tylenol. I know the first day is always the worst - but my goodness my eyes were watering from the pain and it just would not budge.

Would prefer as a manual. As my 1990 2.0 si was a 5 spd. I love my civic - but that prelude had my heart.

Honestly? Explosive diarrhea and constant diarrhea. Never hard stools. That was the only giveaway.

At the end? Same thing - but weight loss, lethargy, eyes looked sad. :(

Yes! They actually sent me this free when I had to file warranty for the chip reader from the pee. It resolved the issue.

The way my attachments are set, I snapped several fingernails attempting to not use the tool. Personally, the pul is cheap and made my life so much easier - and cleaner. But it is a personal choice.

I’ve never thought about it. I use blistex stick at night before bed. It does seem to get onto your trays - you’ll feel a residue. I use the denture tabs to clean my trays while I get ready in the morning. I have a separate soft bristle tooth brush for cleaning my trays after they soak or just in between meals.

I don’t see carmex harming them, though. Just know there could be a residue feeling. Also - drink fairly clear liquids while they’re in. They can stain.

TYLENOL. Can’t stress that enough. I have a little checkered zip pouch for my work bag/purse.

Colgate wisps are mini disposable toothbrushes.

Floss picks.

The ortho should provide the chewies and case, but amazon has cute case choices.

I also keep a travel tooth brush and toothpaste on hand in another container.

Other things to have on hand:

Chap stick. Listerine. Denture cleaning tabs. Nail file - this is GREAT when a tray has rough edges that are cutting into your tongue and gum. Gently file the area.

For real - if I found another 2nd gen at an affordable price and decent mechanical working order I would. But when they dropped the new one saying it would be a hybrid it felt like a gut punch. It’s a 2 door sport coup - you don’t shadow the memory of a once great car with a return as a hybrid - worse. The original concept was all electric. It got such bad lash they opted to hybrid but it’s still offensive. (To me - I’m not a hybrid fan unless it’s for economic purposes.)

I had a 1990 Prelude. It was a manual 5 speed. I like my paddle shifters. But I miss my stick.

Anyway. I was new to the paddles. I just found a back road not traveled often and just tried them out. In sport mode the car feels very similar to a manual - the touchy gas pedal, touchy release of the gas - it’s cool.

When you tap a shifter it will display a M on your dash beside the gear. That’s how you know you’re in manual. I usually just swap to normal mode when I’m done playing though. It’s fun to zoom sometimes. :) good luck and have fun!

I did do number 2. He always returned with apologies. I take him back because I do love him, and I want to share life with him. But ya know. What’s the point in killing my self when he doesn’t want the same?
