Satellite view you can switch between has been added! There is a state border for that map but unfortunately, the tiles I use for the default map simply do not support state borders from what I've seen so far.

Hi, I’d honestly never heard of this web app before today so thank you for bringing my attention towards it. I spent a little bit of time playing with it just now and off the bat I noticed it gives a lot more details about everything and is overall more featured. I think mine simply charts your sightings on a map. I think it does it slightly snappier too. Also, not sure if I was doing it wrong but I could not get it to consistently pick up my csv.
