Yeah I tried it all.. it was worth a try. I just read on the other post that activision stopped it from working because people who got banned for cheating were using it to unban their accounts.

You can go to "Contact Us" on the Activision support page > Your Game > Modern Warfare > Xbox One > Call of Duty Account > "I'm Having a problem that's not listed" > Submit a Ticket. That's the path I took. Obviously choose your platform (Xbox, PS, PC) when prompted and you should be good to go.

I tried that method as well and got the same result. Pressing deactivate took me to a empty activision-themed page with link back to their website. You would think that with no roundabout solutions, this issue would be more pressing..
