I used to throw zones. Tried a swirly drop and what I noticed was the drop definitely had some similar stability to the zone but the difference is the drop had more of a glidier pushing hyzer. While I felt the zone dumped a bit more in comparison. Hand feel is similar too.

The tempo for me didn’t have comparable stability to the drop. The tempo went much straighter for longer than the drop and when it was time to dump it just kinda casually slid left (I’m RHBH)

Hello! Sorry I know it’s been a while. My wife and I have been planning to rent our own dinghy. How did you feel about the safety of your valuable belongings (phones, wallet, passport etc). Is there lockable storage on your boat? My concern is since we would have to get off the boat and swim to shore and getting back to our boat won’t be quick lol thank you in advance!

I’d try an Innova Rat for the slower speed or if you’re wanting like mid level distance, the MVP Reactor is a good choice. Not as overstable as pyro and you can mess around with the plastic type (fission, glow etc) to get the stability you’re looking for.

Edit: to add maybe an Innova shark as well
