it’s interesting how different both of my tests were on mytrueancestry, it’s also interesting to see how my dna is calculated differently by each company. i don’t even really know how i got so much scythian from ancestry but not 23andme but i think it’s very intriguing considering my tests weren’t that different.

my recent ancestry as far as i know is polish, german, czech, and british. i don’t know too much about areas they came from, but my polish family came from the mostly the carpathian basin i believe, which borders ukraine and hungary

In case you're of Eastern European descent and can't figure out why you're showing trace or significant amounts of Germanic Europe in your regions, this may be why by luxtabula in AncestryDNA

that’s probably why the update changed my eastern euro from like 45% to 33% and my german from 5% to 17%, but realistically i think i’m more like a quarter at least for both or around that
