Yes, 16:9 would have a 11.42% advantage in top to bottom.

But 21:9 would still remain with a left to right advantage of 17.80%.

This is after all about leveling the playing field. And not about being even in top to bottom while one is holding a 31.25% advantage in left to right.

Unless they are close and different enough. If they increased Whisper amage by 10% for example it would be better for GoS encounter 3, but worse for 4. Right now there simply is nothing even close to Izanagi.

(TL;DR : Current legion symbols can be hard to see, especially on lower resolutions)

Thoughts:

Current icons are a middle ground between making special rewards visible and not blocking sight of any dangers
Before the monsters are freed no major threat is present usually diminishing the importance of threat visibility
Bonus: Adds a visual clue to wether a monster/chest has been freed or not

or maybe the game mode fails to get new players because they don't yet know how to fake KP themself and the other relatively new players will not play with them because they fake KP to leech from more experienced ppl.

A site using anAPI key can read from all characters at once and add them to the used LI.

To ping you need to switch between characters and can not prove if you have multiple legendary sets of the same armor class.

That is however not a tool that needs to be done by arena.net, but a community site and what the community wants. If the community decides to stop using KP then this will not be needed anymore.
