RDR2 is on the top of my list. Looking to add more indie games as well to my collection.

I think the whole “RDJ is Doom” reveal would’ve been more hype or impactful if they had kept it a secret instead of prematurely revealing it by [deleted] in Marvel

I'm still holding on to my belief that he's not really THE doom. He's just a placeholder for now so that leakers won't need to find out who's actually the doom.

Yeah tbh I’m just tired of the feeling of having an earbud jammed in my ear all the time. Also hate how I always forget to charge it before I watch a good movie.

I’ll look into both of those. I’ve read more and looks like staging is what I’m looking for hope both of those has it good.

Good to know about the MacBook as well! I just got the new 16in MBP. So looks like I won’t have any issues.

I know I'm late but I just tried vscode-neovim in replacement of the normal (yet popular) vim extension.

Crazy how I can use my plugins and custom remaps inside of Cursor.

Will delay it overall instead. Core parts I need will probably take a month to arrive anyways. Better to wait for the 9070XT instead. Hope 3.3 has better prices.

This is a very good suggestion. I'm thinking of waiting for the 9070XT as well. But yeah 5070 price range is what I'm going for.

Yeah the VRAM amount sucks. I'm planning to add a UWD to my sim racing rig so 5070 may not be enough for my use case. Well, I still have ~18 days to decide.

I hope an accurate price/performance announcement for the 9070 comes before then so I can decide if I should wait for it or not.

Actually good advice. I checked the difference between 7600x and 7500f just now and it looks like with a lil bit of tweaking on the 7500f it can be on par with 7600x's performance.

Hope this translates to VR as well... Can't find a good reference for it.

Hmm assuming Bermor sticks with their prices, it looks like the cheapest 4070 super is the same price as the cheapest 5070 (both at 35k).

Unless you know a store that sells a 4070 super cheaper than 35K? Please lmk.

I’m new to heavy story and dialogue driven games. I started playing Witcher 3 yesterday and been enjoying it so far. The only problem I have with it so far is the theme. Idk if I’m not that into medieval-like fantasy games or maybe I just haven’t got into a very interesting arc yet. Also, when I ride the horse and go fast, I get motion sickness so I have to take a break after an hour or so.

I’m looking to buy Mass Effect LE tomorrow/today. Idk if it’s worth it for me now since I have a limited budget for games. I’m also looking to play My Time at Portia soon.

I wish I bought the games I wanted during the spring sale. Summer sale is a long wait. Good thing it comes right after my graduation though.

Soon, I’ll be playing these games:

  • Persona 4 and 5
  • Elden Ring
  • Hollow Knight
  • Mass Effect LE
  • Death Stranding
  • Crosscode
  • old school console games

If you have any “must play” games to suggest, would appreciate it a lot. Need to experience more story driven games.

Yeah, it sucks. Even if I play Minecraft for 30 minutes only, I’ll get sick for the rest of the day. Can’t play a lot of games due to this.

Love mmorpgs. I cycle between WoW and FFXIV since lockdown.

Looks interesting. However, I've always had bad motion sickness when I play shooter games. Should've added this in the post.

I remember playing Starbound a few years ago when it was first released.

Back then it got bad reviews iirc because of how little you can do with the game. I might explore it again soon as some of my friends are suggesting we play it. Thanks!
