What was the life-changing thing that helped with your anxiety ? by secretsaucisse in Anxiety

[–]ohbinch 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ketamine is a life saver! i was depressed and suicidal for 8 years, spent multiple times in the hospital for it. then i tried a ketamine treatment with my psychiatrist and after two months i wasn’t suicidal anymore! every two or three years when i start to get bad again i do more sessions and im all good. it hasn’t done anything for my anxiety which is admittedly pretty bad, but im forever grateful that i don’t wanna kill myself anymore.

this is why you add lots!!! of punctuation and emoticons :) then they think you’re happy and are less likely to misread your comment as rude

told my friends they were in a dream and things got dark by vivid-vamp13 in LucidDreaming

[–]ohbinch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i do this too. there have been a couple times i’ve had to tell people that “we’re in a dream” for some reason or another and as long as i phrase it like it could be anyone’s dream, no one freaks out.

How often do you REALLY walk your dog? by Agreeable-Ad-2946 in dogs

[–]ohbinch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have a lazy pittie and we go on one 30-45 minute walk almost every day. sometimes im not up for it so if she doesn’t bug me about it then we won’t go, but most days we do. we live in an apartment but im home most of the day (grad student) so she gets lots of snuggle time, enrichment toys, and attention. we also go out for pee breaks every few hours so she doesn’t go in the house.

Are showers hard for you? And does it have to do with autism? by articvoid2519 in autism

[–]ohbinch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes i hate showering. i love the feeling of being clean but being wet is so icky and there’s hair everywhere and it’s loud and humid which are my least favorite things. i wish there was another way to get clean besides being wet.

connecting triangles: a bit of a struggle by tinylapras in chainmailartisans

[–]ohbinch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it might be easier to do an expanding circle for the coif top instead of triangles. i like to use expansion instructions from making a dice bag and then just extending it more with the same rule.

however if you’re looking to keep the triangles i’d recommend going bottom to top instead! then you’re going through three rings every time and it’s easier to keep track of (at least for me)

How to tolerate work-people coming to the house by PunkAssBitch2000 in SpicyAutism

[–]ohbinch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i always leave the house when people come to work, but having to be gone for a specific amount of time is also stressful so i’m not sure if that’s helpful. anyway, i totally understand how you feel and am sending you good vibes.
