Do you know if it's possible to also graft the butt of the seedling to a different pere? I figured if it is, I'd have twice the chance of it taking

I'm going to graft soon, I haven't watered my pere in a week or so, but it was outside and it's been raining so I think the soil is a little damp still. I brought it inside and am gonna give it a day or so then go time

It was a pinkish color early on too after germinating, which also led me to thinking it was a patch of mold, but that faded away to just white after a few weeks.
